DIY cRaft ideas: Valentine Burlap Heart

This is a super easy DIY that can be created with things you have around your house...I promise.
I've used the Kiss Me Collection here, of course, because I just LOVE it!
But...how about juxtaposing the raw texture of burlap with soft silk ribbon & a gold, ornate frame...with...
chevron & glitter.
um. yes pleas!
supplies needed:
heart shape. this can be anything you have around the house because it will be covered. even cardboard!
burlap, linen, fabric- anything with texture.
silk ribbons
jute twine
toothpick
pearl
glitter letters
frame

Step 1. Take a strip of burlap, linen or fabric & hot glue to the back & just wrap it all along the form.
*I'd mentioned above that you can even cut out the shape from a cardboard box*

Step 2. Print out papers from the Kiss Me Bundle & put inside the frame.

Step 3. Cut a strip of the papers & add glitter letters to it for any Valentine greeting.

Step 4. Follow THIS toothpick/pearl/printable= flag tutorial to create a cute Valentine flag tag.

Step 5. Add flags wherever you'd like..I have two to balance each other out, but also added a glitter chipboard heart.

Step 6. Tie with silk ribbons & jute...Hang right inside the frame...& voila! A cool Valentine DIY decoration...Love it!

Ok...so, tomorrow I'll be sharing some fun gift ideas with Rhonna Designs Kiss Me printables...don't miss it!  And, be sure to enter the Valentine Perfume Giveaway...so fun!

DIY Valentine cRaft ideas: mason jaRs

simple. cReative. fun. easy. DIY.
These jaRs have got it all!
Created with the KiSS mE collection, burlap, flowers, ribbons, pearls, twine & glitter, these DIY Valentine jars can be decorations, gifts, or how about using the jar to put your gift IN! you know...
presentation is everything.

One of my favorite things about these jars is they are so simple....really, you can't fail with these.
Take any scraps of burlap, ribbon, or printed papers from the Kiss Me collection & wrap your jar.

The key is: layer. Layer twine, ribbons & little Valentines. (easy to use these pre-designed Valentine Printables in this project.
I just dropped some ranunculus inside the jars, but you can put candy, love notes, a little gift....& then top them off with lids that are covered in vintage paper like these
Or add some glitter to your printable Kiss Me tags N flags...juxtapose with vintage butterflies, silk ribbon, pearls & burlap...oh mercy! I'm in LOVE!
This little Love 14 heaRts card has got to be one of my FAVES of this collection...isn't it so cute on this jar? I am bottling up some goodness for gifts...I'll have to share soon! Happy cReative thuRsday!
be suRe to....
