Idea No. 10: 31 Halloween Ideas w/ Rhonna Designs --Spooky Mini Banners

Today's idea in our 31 Halloween Ideas Series is not a new one...but a fun & easy one. In the Rhonna Designs Newsletter that went out yesterday, you saw the NEW kits: Spooky Mini Banners.
I can't get enough of these. They are the perfect size to add to any corner of your home, a gift, a tree, even your car! *wink*  So....today I wanted to share some pictures of where I've got them in my home & yard!

Idea No. 10: Spooky Mini Banners
This little Spooky Mini Banner is from the Printable kit...Just cut out & hang! I hung it up on my thrashed, destroyed, huge chunky funky frame in my kitchen!  Just adding a little 'Spook' to this corner!

I used these minis on string (print out, cut & punch holes) & hung them in my trees outside my front door. I love Epson papers & inks...even outside, they don't run or bleach out. perfectly spooky for outdoors!
Even though the Spooky Mini Banner Printables come in the shape & size...remember...you can always get creative! Here, I've cut notches to vary the banners. And, you can always print the sheet out smaller for even MINI-ER banners!
Hanging them on mirrors &  layering is fun, too.  Or like below...I simply punched out the alpha letter & put them on scraps of the Spooky Papers I already had to create THIS fun vignette on my vintage window! *yes, I'm chalkboard crazy...this is another wall in my house! LOL*
And..the whole 'bewitching hour' saying was just perfect to pull out my It's Time clocks I had printed out! The little clocks were just folded over for the banner. & see the clock hanging down w/ the bow & witch? fun fun! Love mixing it like Amy did! *see? we are sister brains...didn't know each of us had used this kit together for our Halloween decor! Love it!*

Each Spooky Printable Sheet has Mini Banners that are sized 1.75 x 3 & have the tops to fold over like my banners above, sew together OR just cut off & punch holes & string or thread!

The Spooky Mini Banner Brush kit is the Banner shape & you can size them, stamp them, & since it's the entire alphabet, you can create ANY word you want! Remember, Digital Brush kits are so versatile; If you haven't used them...go on over HERE for more info!

And...didn't you LOVE the freebie & BONUS ideas in the Newsletter? Love my Creative Team! *wink*

Idea No. 9: 31 Halloween Ideas w/ Rhonna Designs- Spooky Hats

Many of you may or may not know, but my cReative Team member, Amy Miles, is my sister. We are 10 years apart & she's my baby sister, but I look up to her in so many ways. She's always had that *magical* gift. She's beautiful inside & out, she's crazy creative & her style is unmatched. She dresses, decorates, cooks, & styles like a pro...She seriously has 'the midas touch'...everything she touches turns to gold.  So, when I see the cReations she makes with Rhonna Designs...it tickles my soul! I a*dore everything she does! And these Halloween ideas she's sharing today just make me smile.

Idea No. 9: Spooky Hats For Everyone

Aren't these little party hats adorable? I love how she mixed the Spooky kits with the It's Time KitsI giggled when she sent this to me, because, we BOTH used 'It's Time' kits in our decorating...unbeknownst to each other. ** All of my sisters do this. Yup...we call it sister brain. We buy the same things w/o even knowing, we dress alike, it's kinda funny! I love our connection.**

She mixed the kits for some really fun looks...but, she also mixed the sizes. Tiny hats & the larger hats...LOVE! Her little details using Rhonna Designs are so fun!
Love how she's styled her shots, too, don't you? & that skelly printed on vintage book paper? I'm in. love.
This lil Raven is topped off w/ a mini hat AND Amy created a mini paper bow out of the Rhonna Designs Paper Bow Template from the Newsletter....isn't that soo fab? Darling...put a bow on it!

And, her mini LOLLIES (my video tutorial HERE) are darling!  She fringed the papers for tops & voila! A Spooky set up for sure! LOVE it mixed with the dirty silver, vintage books & milk glass! oh my!

I adore how she put a mini hat on this owl.  Brilliant.  Top off birds, owls, pumpkins, skeletons, witches...anything you've got around w/ a Spooky Hat! So cute!
Another little owl w/ a hat! LOVE the Spooky Junque scalloped edges & prize ribbon she used.

Thanks, Amy....you are so amazing. I LOVE that you are a part of my team *officially* and that you grace us w/ your creative brilliance.  I die. LOVE these ideas!  Tomorrow...Idea No. 10! &...some new Kits  that I created out of my own decorating needs! LOL....We'll be announcing them *and perhaps a coupon-ahem* in the Newsletter, so make sure you are on the & signed up!
Happy cReating!

Idea No. 8: 31 Halloween Ideas w/ Rhonna Designs - Spooky Banners

One thing that's fun about the Spooky Kits is they mix n match perfectly.  A little vintage vibe with Spooky Junque juxtaposed with the modern flair of Spooky = hybrid Halloween heaven!
For today's idea, Nancy has shared the PERFECT combo of mixin & matchin'...vintage & modern = mintage! LOL! I love these!

Idea No. 8: Spooky Banners

See how she brilliantly shows HOW to mix create the Spooky Junque Printable banners with the Spooky Frameable kit to create these fab banners? I'm in LOVE...seriously brilliant! Love the juxtaposition of the textured jute twine she used, orange burlap garland underneath and then the sleek modern glossy frames!

And that cut out Bird Silhouette? Be still my Halloween-lovin' heart. I just adore that little add-in!

She seamlessly created her Halloween decor w/ both of the kits...creating a delicious display of creative inspiRation! Thank you, Nancy...for truly uplifting & inspiring......go on over to her Vimeo channel for some fabulous video tutorials creating with Rhonna Designs!

Idea No. 7: 31 Halloween Ideas w/ Rhonna Designs- Spooky Tee Shirts

Ready? Today my cReative Team member, Melissa Mortenson- of Polka Dot Chair- is sharing her amazing Halloween ideas! I'm. In. Love. w/ how she used Rhonna Designs Spooky kits to cReate!

Idea No. 7: Spooky T-shirts
She created 3 different tees & each of them just make me giddy. She really rocked these!

T-shirt No. 1: Be Witched. Talk about a glammed up witch! I'm dying over her tulle, glitter, lace & jewels she added to the 'Be Witched' graphic...along w/ adding the Witch Hat found HERE. **& for all of you House of 3 fans...recognize the cute silhouette? yup... brilliant Melissa brought her back *ahem* from the dead. haha!
Here's a closer look at how she put it all together...it's ALL sparkly & delightful. I sooo want to make this tee shirt! Isn't it scrumptious?
T-shirt No. 2: Monster Mash I am in love with this little graphic in the Insta Spooky kit.. & LOOK at how fabulous Melissa made it! She added 3-D embellies to create a really fun t-shirt. As soon as my son saw this, he wants one just like it! He loved it! That is the main reason I created this Spooky collection this year....it's a bit more masculine & my son is wanting me to create more things for him lately..Melissa captured the fun BOY-ness of this kit!
T-shirt No. 3: The Witch Is In...The bejeweled witch, that is! I adore how Melissa used different colored jewels on this tee. It really adds a punch, don't you think?
Thanks so much, Melissa, for uplifting & inspiRing us with these amazing ideas! Run on over to her blog for more inspiRation...she's amazing!

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see MORE ideas in our 31 Halloween Ideas Series.....surely uplifting & inspiRing!

Idea No. 6: 31 Halloween Ideas w/ Rhonna Designs: Spooky Silhouettes

Happy October!  It's October 1st...my favorite month of the year! and the celebration begins!
How many of you have frames you love to hang in your home? I do! I have these 2 vintage gilded frames that I love to change out every once in a while. Holidays are always fun to personalize the art in these frames. And Rhonna Designs makes it so easy! So, here ya go...another idea for our 31 Halloween Ideas Series:

Idea No. 6: Spooky Silhouettes.
1. Print out your favorite Spooky Printable Papers. 8x10.
2. Create the bold black & white Silhouettes w/ the  Spooky Silhouettes by stamping the digital brush in white onto a black 6x8 background.
3. Print out & adhere onto the Spooky Papers.
4. Trim to fit into frame. Adhere.
5. Add a 3-D Paper Bow created by using the Rhonna Designs Paper Bow Template you got in the Newsletter.

I love mixing the patterns together. The Afghan Chevron with the dots & stripes is just so delish to me!
And, isn't it easy & fun? I added the striped black & white paper between the two frames to look like a ribbon...Note to self: I need a good black & white ribbon...has anyone found some? I need it!
I love how easy this is to just print out & make a festive Halloween art decor piece for my home.
Then, I topped the frame set w/ a half Lolly created out of the Spooky Junque Papers. Love it!

Remember: cReate something eveRyday! Now...go! cReate!
