It's official. My bags are packed.

Hittin' the hay early tonight so I can get up suuuuuper early, pick up Heidi & head to the airport. We'll meet up with Miss Janet right there in the airport in Chicago & head on over to our hotel.

We are all super excited for this adventure at the Summer Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Show.

**sorry about throwing around 'CHA' so freely in previous posts...apparently some of you didn't know what it was...forgive me.**

along with being at the Pink Paislee booth to do our Make & Takes &  have a Parisian Party, don't forget to catch our LIVE WEBSHOW from CHA at the same time we normally have it: Wed. nights @ 8:00 PM MDT, so 9:00 PM in Chicago! We are so excited.

Parisian Anthology DIY Headbands & Earrings....

ok..I"m having waaaaaay to much fun with the new Parisian Anthology collection....when we designed this, we had the vision that you could create not only scrapbook & craft projects, but also DIY fashion, home décor, jewelry....key word: versatility.


So....I have been busy creating some fun booth samples: but wearable booth samples for the CHA show.
How about these earrings created with the Parisian Anthology Dangle Elements in the 'smoky' crystals?

And....I"m *loving* these headbands! I had so much fun creating them!

I just took a plain black headband & added a rhinestone strip (from a broken necklace; yes: recycle!) & then took some of the  Ruffle Darlings ribbon, created a flower & added the Flair Rhinestone Button! & there you have it: a fab sparkly headband we'll be wearing at CHA!

Ok...stop it right now... This one made me giddy! I am in love with it! It's created with the large grey Flower Darling & then a smaller white Flower Darling....but, I misted it with Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist. The yellow I used was too light...so I sprayed Carmel Apple over it to make it more of a mustard color. LOVE the fluff of these Flower Darlings....they are seriously so fab!! I added guinea feathers & tulle & *ka*bam! LOVE the grey & mustard color combo...mmmm. so sassy!

This headband is created with the turquoise Ruffle Darling strip. I attached it to a thin headband & added guinea feathers, black tulle, pearls & grey satin singed flowers....seriously, SO fun!

The live chat is always FAST & FUN! There were so many people there asking questions during the live chat, I'm SURE we missed some. So, please be sure to ask them here!  A few questions I did see:

1. Many of you wanted to get a blinkie to share with friends about our Wednesday Webshows. so...

Look on the sidebar over on our House blog & there's the code for a side bar blinkie for your blog.

2.  Q: When will this new Parisian Anthology collection ship? 

A: the first of September.  And so far, it will be available at your local craft/scrapbook stores, online stores, etc. As we learn more of its availability, we will shout it out!

3. Q: What if I can't wait for the collection? or What if I live on the other side of the world? How can I get a piece of the action?

A: Look at our NEW House of 3 Parisian Anthology Add-on kits. There are 6 new digital kits; all coordinating perfectly with the new physical collection. 

This is hybrid at its finest! Something for everyone! 

We have coordinating brushes, frames, word art, 

a fun printable & little notes & mini spots!

4. And...as promised...here are the images of the shots we shared using the NEW House of 3 Parisian Anthology collection from Pink Paislee debuting at CHA on Tuesday, July 27th.

There were a bunch of questions about HOW I made the banners.  These tickets come in a roll of 100. yes. 100 tickets! love them! So, I ripped a bunch off & then sewed them together with my sewing machine. Super duper easy & fast for a cute banner. Later, I added some stamping on them with the FAB new Hof3 stamps we showed last night! Love these things!

One of my favorites of this new collection is the little Ruffle Darlings.  15" of pure deeeelight.  They come in 3 different colors: white, grey & turquoise.  All of these ruffle ribbons are light weight, silky & shiny! Perfect for so many wonderful creations. I twirled, glued & clipped this one into a flower. Added one of our new Flair rhinestone buttons & voila! A chic accessory for  hair, clothes, pillows, scrapbook pages, cards, albums..you name it!

Here's a fun layout I did with some of the fabulous double sided resist papers in the collection.  

Parisian Anthology stamps, Flair Rhinestone button, tickets & flags cut out of the papers....mixed with crepe paper ruffles, polaroid pikcha, doily, feathers, pearls! So fun!

Here's another layout..I haven't added the journaling yet..I'm waiting for some of the NEW corrugated elements to put in that bottom right corner...but, I loved how this one turned out.

I ran out of the fabric ruffles, so I made some out of crepe paper. Look at the little *bling* elements! Love these dangles! And for the top, I just misted the resist papers, punched them out & then created the scalloped top layers.  I added grey crepe ruffles & pearls on top! The tiny pictures are printed on sticker paper & I cut them out to make the banner with the photos!..added  a little stamping on the bottom right & will top off with the new corrugated elements! I'll for sure have these layouts in the booth at CHA, so come by & see the finished project!

and....speaking of coming by the booth....

Each of us will be teaching a very fun 'event' (tickets required) using our new collection.  My class will be based on wearable art...I'll be showing you HOW you can use our new collection to create a fashion statement like this:

This project uses the new Flower darlings, bling dangle elements & the Flair starburst flowers & Flair rhinestone buttons.

I am in LOVE with these unique starbursts! They come in 2 sizes: small & large...but, also come in clear or smoky. So do the bling dangles...i LOVE the smoky..it's so fab! And...you can see the close up of the delicious ruffle darlings...I'm tellin' you....Pink Paislee did such a GREAT job...such good quality in *every* single bit of the collection. We couldn't be happier! Thank you, Rebecca, for everything..we feel so lucky to work with you & your team...you are a*mazing!

Summer Junque is....HERE!

  At House of 3, we had so many people asking about Summer Junque...well...it's here!  I'm in love with the soft color palette, butterflies, hot air balloons.....the vintage, junquey feel of the whole collection.  

We've got a background set that includes 8 fab designs in 12x12 AND 8.5x11. They all coordinate with each other & some are already quick & easy scrabpook pages or cards! Just put a picture on digitally or print out the paper & do a hybrid page! Love it!

Then, we've got a Summer Junque Border Set...oooh. Loving the soft, funky feel of these.  They come in colored PNG files to just drop into any digital project you've got: photos, blogs, cards, scrapbook pages, etc

OR the kit also comes with 2 8x5 x 11 PDF Printables. Just print off & you can cut out & use! stickers...cardstock...you name it!

And how about these Summer Junque Stickers? Print the PDF Printable sheets out on sticker paper & you are good to go. OR They come in colored PNG files, too, so you can use them however you want! Love it!

 Look at this Summer Junque Tag kit. I'm in LOVE with the vintagey feel of these. Just use the colored PNG files over your photos & print out. OR on blog posts like above. OR How about print out the whole PDF Printable on cardstock & cut out for a really cool & unique tag...I see these on gifts, scrapbook pages, cards, or just single...cut out & slipped on a pillow to tell someone how much you care! Hey...what about a bottle of summer jam? hee hee...getting so excited!

And lastly...how about a FAB new Frame set? Summer Junque style! 

The kit comes with 4 PNG files: 2 are the charcoal grey & vertical or horizontal. While the other 2 are junqued up & have color & softness for any cool vibe on your photos.  
PLUS: it comes in 4 PDF Printables, resized a bit, so you can print out on transparency or even cardstock & cut out the frame for the photo...such a cool look! Again, wouldn't these make fab cards, too?
