Spark no. 2 Vol. 1

So many things I will report....but, for now..still recovering!

It was magical.

It was.....a*mazing.

a HUGE thanks to all of our Spark Teachers, Creative Partners, volunteers, family & friends who helped....mmm*wah!

today is the day!

....to SPARK it up!  We were busy all day yesterday transforming our venue into a *sparkle* wonderland! I got to chalk up the outside of the building....

JMills was there setting up his film equipment...Dear Lizzie boutique is on-site....teachers popped in here & there to say HI...our a*mazing creative partners Persnickety Prints & Abode delivered all of the *spark* goodness & manufacturers like Silhouette delivered some *golden ticket* prizes! 

The Smile Now Photobooth just *had* to be tested out..*wink* &

Amy & Vivian were there getting the Spark Eats all glammed up! 

 ...gathering up my laptop & other sundries to head out to the venue this morning bright & early...

We are so excited to meet up & get this party started! see you soon!

getting spark*ed!

Just giddy that SHE is going to be speaking & performing at Spark tomorrow night...how lucky are WE?

love you, Mindy! you're my hero! Your lyrics inspire me so much! I want to wear butterfly wings all over now...sprinkling little butterfly kisses wherever I go! *sigh* I love her video!

I've got a goLden ticKet!

Remember the old 'Willie Wonka' movie? The one with little Charlie Bucket who won a Golden Ticket to go into the world renowned Chocolate Factory?  ...and he bellowed out in song: "I've got a golden ticket...."?





When I was younger I remember thinking the whole idea of winning 1 of just a few Golden Tickets must be such a thrill!  I wanted to bellow out that song, too! *wink*

Well.... one of the little *spark* surprises we've got up our sleeves is, yup....the chance to win a Golden Ticket!  We'll be hiding them all over our venue & when a Spark finds one...on Saturday night at our Spark Soiree, we'll be handing out the *grand prizes* to the finders of the Golden Tickets ...sing with me now..."I want a gold ticket!"hee hee. ...i love it...the thrill ...I'm giddy!

*gasp*

needless to say...i won't be posting until after Spark...you can keep updated by my tweets & fb messages.....but, to all of you coming....we'll be Sparking in 3 days!!! So here are some answers to questions I've been getting:

1. Where to download a free 30 day trial of Photoshop? HERE. I'll be teaching my class in Photoshop CS4. But, you can use whatever you have on your laptop.

2. Do I need my laptop? No, you can just sit back & watch as I show you step by step how to use the exclusive Spark digital kit from House of 3.  *skills you'll learn which can be interpreted to ANY other digital kit!**

Note: IF you do bring your laptop, be sure it's all juiced up & can last 1 hour...because we won't have a TON of outlets!

3. I don't have the Spark Digital Kit yet! Please email Megaslett@gmail.com  to get the link. And, as a side note: my friend Nancy, let me know that there's a typo in there! argghhh! leave it to me...so, be watching for ANOTHER link to come in your email from Megan!

4. What should I wear?  Margie added our local weather forecast on the site today. Check it out! It will be perfect weather! A bit chilly at night, but it will have that little 'Autumn Nip' in the air! Love it!

to everyone else...we will miss you greatly! You can still come! a very few spots left, but we do have room! until then...enjoy your week!

First up: Check out this private party Dear Lizzie Boutique & Bistro is putting on at their store! It's planned for right after our closing rooftop Soiree at the venue...but for those that still have Spark Energy...10pm-1:00am.

As noted, you'll need to provide your own transportation.

and....secondly, since breakfast is kind of an 'iffy' thing for some....there will be Grab & Go Breakfast Special for $5 at the front doors each morning...brought to you by Dear Lizzie Boutique & Bistro....You can snag some eats for $5...bagel with cream cheese & fresh juice! mmm!
