creative team tuesday: hybrid cards & invitations

Taking my Rhonna Designs art & creating hybrid cards & invitations is on the agenda today! Creative Team Member, Jamie Pate, created this gorgeous card out of my Nautical Chic line! ohhh la la!

Go on over & read her blog post about how she felt/feels about Nautical Chic. I am so loving her thoughts on this- a perfect Creative Exercise! It's fun to be on a Creative Team & really push your creativity to a new level by taking a product & figuring out how to use it to be YOU...I love her cReative results!

And, her festive banner using Nautical Chic is simply scrumptious! You can SEE her cReativity coming out in this & really pushing her creative boundaries...LOVE this so much! So festive & amazing! 

The fun thing about designing these kits is that I try to stay true to my own style, but also evolve & take on something that is a bit different...that's how I keep things fresh in my creative mind so I don't get bored with the same ol' same ol'...& Jamie's doing it here, too! Thanks so much, Jamie!

Speaking of kicking it up a notch & going out of your comfort zone to evolve creatively, I have designed some new kits that will be up in the store this week! I am giving a dear friend a Bridal Shower & designed these fun invitations....along with banners, tags, & all sorts of Party necessities! Again, a bit different, but evolving & still my 'Rhonna' style!

I'm always LOVING what Rosemary creates with my designs...check out how she created her Facebook Cover pages using the NEW Nautical Chic kits...she's so uplifing & inspiring...LOVE it, Rosemary!

Love this digital scrapbook page by Kirsty! She used the Nautical Chic kits to create her Jubilee look! See how versatile this is?  It can be used for Jubilee, the Fourth of July, beach parties, birthday parties...bbqs! Love it!

And...getting ready for a bbq invite? or throwing summer parties? I LOVE what Melissa did here...& this is with the Fourth of July kit...so easy & fab!

Look how Jamie is sprinkling Rhonna Designs in all of her projects...so inspiring! She added her photos to the Photo Edges 2 kits, printed out & then added in her darling file folder! Brill, Jamie, as always!

& cute Amy Tan is so inspiring on her blog...LOVE seeing her comings & goings....& her whole May wrap up is darling...see how Just a little 'Rhonna Designs' digital washi tape can look so fab on your blog? Darling, Amy!

I'm totally giddy to share my new collection: Nautical Chic! It's up on my site NOW!

The art is vintage & modern mixed....so my vibe! *vodern* or *mintage*

There are EIGHT kits  & they include: banners, borders, iconic buttons & tiles, frames, papers, a HUGE set of brushes/stamps & gorgeous Quote Art that I LOVE to create to print & frame! *or put on Instagram* wink!

 

 

 

I talked a bit HERE about what inspiRed me for this collection.  With Summer right around the corner *and in the States we are celebrating the official season on Monday starting with Memorial Day* I am so excited to create cards, decor, scrapbook pages, photo frames, BBQ/party favors...ALL with these kits! You've got it all here! and TONS of art...Like I said..I'm giddy!


So, stay tuned....can't WAIT to see what my amazing Creative Team will do with these kits!

Learning to Sail....

Loving this quote so much...it inspires me to be strong & learn about myself, life & HOW to go about 'sailing my ship.' And, case in point, I'm learning that even the MOST amazing Creative Ideas that come at me like a crashing wave....well, I have to learn to sail  that ship, too. & I have to learn what is best for me, my family & my health...so. I'm taking it one step at a time. No worries...these little steps will be really fun to get to the BIG goal. But, it may take a while. It's OK...cuz one thing I HAVE learned about sailing my ship is: Enjoy sailing! *grin*

But, inspiration is a funny thing... I can get inspired by a quote visually as well...This quote is actually the inspiration behind my new collection- Nautical Chic- going up on the Rhonna Designs site next week! 

And, of course, I'm totally inspired by fashion as well...LOVING the fresh, crisp feel of the whole Nautical trend.  It's everywhere & I'm aching for the Summer sun & fun....so, it was natural to create this fun collection.  Just browzing through Pinterest under 'Nautical' was super inspiring...loved the creative process of this collection!
