cReative Team Tuesday....inspiration

This week, just sit back & enjoy the eye candy from Jamie & Nancy. They've created some lovelies for us to get inspired with Rhonna Designs.

Jamie created some word art that is simply deeeeevine. I just adore all of these!

 The cut out butterflies from A Year To Follow Your Heart kit plus her amazing use of the Easter Bouquet brushes on this Junqued Frame....oh my...FABULOUS!

 And...*gasp* This Easter word art is soooo sublime. I spy some Chevron kits, Easter Bouquet & some of the Spring Circus...oohhh de.lish.

 Add some Punk Junque kits with some of the quatrefoil & honeycomb pieces & you've got something amazing! Love it, Jamie!

And...LOVE that word art with that cute Easter Bouquet birdie with a top hat & swirls...so fab!

And I'm loving this fab digital scrapbook layout Nancy created of her niece...isn't it gorgeous?

I am in LOVE with how she used the Chevron Tool Kit to create the background, then used the Easter Bonnet Printable for the butterflies...soooo clever! With just a *splash* of the Spring Circus Borders for good measure. ooh...la la. LOVE it, Nancy!

Sooo excited because of few of the Creative Team members will be at a Bloggers conference called SNAP! here in UT! and I LIVE so close to it...so,  I get to hang w/ these lovely girls! so fab!

Be Your Best....Mom's Best.

As a woman & mom....everyday,  I think to myself: 

 I am seeking I am striving I am in it with all my heart.

And, sometimes I have one of those days where I just feel like I need to be empowered? I am out of gas. I need to be lifted up by other woman? Ya know?

I have several groups of friends that I adore. And we make it a point to get together in real life to just BE together.

share.

You know...empower each other. 

uplift & inspire each other...

so that when you leave, you feel like you can conquer the world!

Sadly, sometimes it's just not realistic & we can't get together....so, virtual friendships & communities really help...That is the main reason I started Rhonna Designs. So, women all over the world can feel uplifted & inspired no matter where they are!

The store is a place for my designs to uplift & inspire others & here, my blog, is a place to share ideas to uplift & inspire. But, I only cover the creative side.

Spring Crafting with Vintage Indie

I LOVE Gabreial over at Vintage Indie...have you checked out her site? It's always uplifting & inspiring~ 

So, when she asked me to be a part of her Creative series, I was so excited! 

This project can be done with children, by yourself, or as a girls' craft night! Super easy & fun Spring Decor in minutes!

Supplies Needed: 

Natural Branches

container

floral foam

scissors

1 1/2 scalloped circle punch or round punch (optional)

Easter grass/paper shred

birds, flowers, butterflies, mushrooms....anything 'Spring' that you have around

Glue Gun/Glue sticks

Glitter

Twine/String

glue/mod podge

Spring Circus Paper Background

& Easter Celebrations Sayings Printable

Note: Easter Sayings comes with many letters that can spell various words: Celebrate, Spring, Happy Easter, Spring Has Sprung, Beauty, Happy Spring.

Steps:

1. Print out Spring Circus Papers, die cut into butterflies, add glitter to the edges.

2. Cut out Leaves & Butterflies w/ die cuts or hand cut.

3. Print out Easter Sayings, punch w/ a 1 1/2" scallop punch, glitter around edges. (If you don't have a circle punch, just letters out in rectangles & snip a 'V' in the bottom to create a little banner)

(dip in glue or modpodge & dip in glitter)

4. Hot glue letters onto twine. set a side.

5. Gather supplies & put together the branch by sticking it into the floral foam in the bottom of the container.

(You may need to secure w/ some hot glue)

6. Add Easter grass or paper shred to the base of the branches.

7. Get creative by adding a dab of hot glue directly onto the branch & adding the leaves & butterflies you cut out. At the base, add flowers, tags, butterflies, birds...whatever you've got on hand.

8. Tie the 'Celebrate' banner onto your branch & step back to enjoy your creations!

Voila! A touch of Spring can be added to any corner of your house, office, or studio! Enjoy!

cReative Team Tuesday....on Wednesday

Spring Break always gets me mixed up on days...& well....obviously it's not Tuesday. But, I STILL have Creative Team Tuesday for you....not to disappoint!

Melissa, of The Polkadot Chair, is always sooo amazing with her projects using Rhonna Designs...& I am in LOVE with this travel journal she did for her recent trip to Amsterdam!

 

LOVE how Melissa used various Rhonna Designs kits to create this journal...she used one of my FAVE Spring Circus Papers for the background...AND she used the Spring Circus tags along with the Mini Stamps & Seals. LOVE!

 

And, how about the Punk Junque kit she's used her? Along with the Chevron Tool kit? um...YES, please!

Rhonna Designs + My Mind's Eye: Follow Your Heart

Today I am excited to share a project I did for the NEW My Mind's Eye blog!

I LOVE combining my collection with My Mind's Eye: Follow Your Heart with my digital Printables: Rhonna Designs....& here are some fun cones that mix them both...Spring Crafting with a little garland!

To create the Cones:

Supplies:

Follow Your Heart Stamps/ink

Doilies

Rhonna Designs Printables

Steps:

Print, cut & create the Cones.

Stamp along the edges with the Follow Your Heart stamps

Fill with goodies!

Easy, right? YES!

 Embellish with doilies, die cut butterflies, stamped tags, etc!

To create the garland:

I took mini cupcake papers, flowers, & pieces of the Follow Your Heart collection 6x6 papers & cut into scalloped circles & just threaded them onto twine to create this fun Spring garland!

For that cute lacey top, I cut out a doily & snipped it in quarters, glued to the top & voila! Pretty lacey toppers!  The middle cone is just stamped with my fave Follow Your Heart Stamps & then goodies are tied up in crepe paper & inserted into the cone with a little stick & cute flag I made my stamping onto paper & wrapping on the stick! Easy & fun!
