Follow Your Heart Feature: Layle Koncar

I wanted to share the amazing work of my dear friend, Layle Koncar.  She is the May Guest Designer over at My Mind's Eye blog this month & she killed it! LOVE her work...always have. And, when I saw her work with my line: Follow Your Heart, I about died...it made me giddy!

SHe used many of the new products from MME, but when I saw this layout she did with my 'Be Amazing' collection, my heart skipped a beat. I LOVE how she created the little honeycomb pop-ups!

I mean, really? she's just brill!  Aaannnd....Here's a card she created with the 'Be Happy' collection. um...yea. THIS makes me happpy!

What is your favorite MME line and why?  Hands down, it's Follow Your Heart - both Be Happy and Be Amazing.  I've been friends with Rhonna for many years and I just LOVE her style - it's so her!  I'm not much of a digi girl, so I was so excited when she began designing paper products again.

Rhonna and My Minds Eye are THE perfect match.  I love the papers in the Follow Your Heart lines - so easy to work with and FUN!

Rhonna Designs + My Mind's Eye: Follow Your Heart

Today I am excited to share a project I did for the NEW My Mind's Eye blog!

I LOVE combining my collection with My Mind's Eye: Follow Your Heart with my digital Printables: Rhonna Designs....& here are some fun cones that mix them both...Spring Crafting with a little garland!

To create the Cones:

Supplies:

Follow Your Heart Stamps/ink

Doilies

Rhonna Designs Printables

Steps:

Print, cut & create the Cones.

Stamp along the edges with the Follow Your Heart stamps

Fill with goodies!

Easy, right? YES!

 Embellish with doilies, die cut butterflies, stamped tags, etc!

To create the garland:

I took mini cupcake papers, flowers, & pieces of the Follow Your Heart collection 6x6 papers & cut into scalloped circles & just threaded them onto twine to create this fun Spring garland!

For that cute lacey top, I cut out a doily & snipped it in quarters, glued to the top & voila! Pretty lacey toppers!  The middle cone is just stamped with my fave Follow Your Heart Stamps & then goodies are tied up in crepe paper & inserted into the cone with a little stick & cute flag I made my stamping onto paper & wrapping on the stick! Easy & fun!

cReative team tuesday: A Year To Follow Your Heart

We are 10 days into twenty.12. How are you feeling? How are you doing on your New Years' Resolutions? I am happy to say..I feel GREAT! And, I must say...I owe it all to 'A Year To Follow Your Heart' digital kits....they are seriously helping me stay on track every day.

Each of us has our own way of 'getting it done'....& MyBook Planner has helped me.  

I am loving each page . each day. each way to stay accountable for my progress.

This collection will be unveiled at CHA (the Craft & Hobby Trade Show) in a few weeks. If you are familiar with My Mind's Eye...their quality, color & goodness just shines through. I couldn't be happier to collaborate with them on this! 

So, as I mentioned yesterday in this post, the whole 'Follow Your Heart' concept came from my heart...healing art. And, the whole idea of following your heart through twenty.12 is something I am seeking everyday this year. I'm determined to listen to my heart and then follow it! 

And now, crafters can have the touchy-feely part of this collection! Holla!
