Rhonna Design is Apple's App of the Week!

When Apple contacted us to be their featured App of the Week I think I might have screamed a bit! We are so excited and honored to be THE app of the week in the App Store!

So, for a limited time...you can get the app for FREEEE! I know, crazy, right? I mean...it's already such a great deal for $1.99, but w/ the App of the Week, Apple offers it to you for free! So, if you were on the fence about it...run on over to get the Rhonna Designs App for free! 

And, since it's free...we are up on the FREE charts...and look: NUMBER ONE! Now...i know this fluctuates by the minute...but, I happened to screen shot it right when it was side by side w/ Instagram! So...I'll take that! so excited and of course a HUUUUGE thanks to all of YOU!

Now....the v1.3 updates should be up oh-so SOON! Sooo excited for this update! Did you check out the video?  Insta Swirls, Insta Family, Insta Friends & Insta School! PLUS: the undo/redo feature is added AND the mirror controls have been added! Ohhhhh, i love it! Seriously, Devin Pitcher, is a genius and he has developed my RD app along w/ Holly's, his wife, app: Bubbleframe. YOU NEED BOTH! lol...seriously..I use them both! love them!

Remember, all of the art that is in the app can be purchased on Rhonna Designs in the high resolution files.  Like the 4 new Insta fonts are all bundled up & offered for $30! loooove it! I think my fave thing about these files is the actual font files that are vectors...which means you can make them as big as you need...AND they cut in any cutting machine, like the Silhouette Cameo, that uses font files! LOOOOVE it again!

RD Insta Class ONLINE Workshop is LIVE!

Ok, after many technical difficulties this past month...I finally was able to get my Rhonna Designs Instagram workshop ONLINE! This is basically the same one I have been teaching locally at Dear Lizzie & Thanksgiving Point, but NOW those that aren't local can take this workshop ONLINE!

It's a 1 Hour Video Workshop w/ 5 Insta Fonts download (.TTF font file only)

This includes instructions and the password to access my RD Insta Class ONLINE Workshop!!

There are 6 Chapters that can be viewed at your own pace! Cool, huh?

We go through Instagram basics, various text, lighting, photo editing & collage apps & of course a look into Insta Fonts & how to use them!

An internet connection will be needed to view the workshop on Vimeo.com. We are working on integrating the Workshops onto our site. Until then, they can be accessed & viewed with the password given in the Welcome page & the Vimeo email.

NEW InstaSNAP for Instagram

You know I love me some Insta Fonts at Rhonna Designs! They dress up my Instagram photos & make it a creative tool on the go! Journaling, documenting, & just plain FUN!

The {21} Challenge...next round!

It's that time again! I started another round of The {21} Challenge! This one is running from March 11-31! And, if you are NEW...go HERE to read up on it!  If you've joined me before...welcome back!

So, today is day one:

1. Pick ONE habit to make or break. 

It can be a physical, emotional, spiritual, mental goal...something that YOU feel you want to improve in your life. 

**For this round, I have signed up & committed to going to Lyceum training at Brick Canvas for 21 days! They have this fab $21 for 21 Days deal going on...& since Spring Break is exactly 21 days away...this is perfect! I started this morning at the 8am class & just about barfed....but, other than that *grimace* I felt great! 

2. Pick a way to document it. You can scrapbook it. art journal it. photograph it. use your phone. (which is what I'm doing) or write it down in a notebook. whatever will help to solidify this new habit. for YOU. tailor it to YOU.

**I will be doing this all on my phone w/ Rhonna Designs Instafonts & sharing them via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest, so be sure to follow me for daily prompts & my accountability!

3. Commit to it for 21 days straight.  This is when the success comes in. It takes 21 days or 3 weeks for your body, muscles, brain to all come together & make or break this habit.

It can be done. 

**I've done round after round & not only do I feel better about myself, gain more confidence, see the changes I want to see, but I get more creative!!!! seriously...it works hand in hand with the 100 Creativity Exercises...I LOVE it!

And, as promised...here's a little Instagram tip using my Insta Lovin' fonts!
When you are using the Insta Fonts in the free app: PHONTO, you will find that it will only allow you to size the fonts to a certain point. This can be frustrating if you want your font to be bigger. So...here's a little tip:
1. Open up your high rez photo in PHONTO.

2. Type your letter. Here, I've typed the capital letter "I" w/ the Insta Chalk Art Font.

You will note it's small, yet this is the biggest I can make it in Phonto. SO:

3. Save at the highest resolution.
Then, open up the app PicFX.
THIS is where you will crop it. 
NOTE: Not all apps are created equal. If you don't have Picfx, find an app that will crop it w/o making it blurry!

4. Add light effects in Pic fx like I did here...I actually added 2 light effects by tapping on the stacked papers w/ the + so I could add this next effect:

save in the highest resolution & voila! You've got your fonts larger than Phonto will allow them! cool, huh?

So, now open up Instagram & upload to your feed!

Insta Fonts for Instagram FX: cheat sheets

I have been LOVING the amazing response we've been getting for the Insta Fonts...the Instagram Class I'm doing TONIGHT & the Studio 5 segment have really opened doors to what we can DO w/ our Instagram photos!

So, with all of the talk about how to fancy up your photos on your phone & HOW to take the creativity up a notch...we've had a lot of new Insta friends asking about 'cheat sheets' for the Insta Fonts.

As I explain in THIS tutorial, Phonto is the app you use to TYPE in the letter to get the fun Insta dingbat designs in there...BUT...they are so small & if you aren't familiar w/ the designs...it can get frustrating.

So...I'm posting the cheat sheets here for the existing 15 Insta Fonts we have in the store! And from here on out...each of the NEW Insta Fonts *yup, you heard me right...NEW ones coming soon** will be included IN the download kit! 

Each of these Insta Fonts are designed to be the CAPITAL letter of the alphabet. So, each kit/font comes w/ 26 designs EXCEPT the Insta Numbers since I wanted a whole set 1-31! So, you will note: there's a,b,c,d,e in there.
