Spring Junque is HERE!

Oh my goodness...I'm on a cReative high right now....& it's even a caffeine free one! woot!

It all started with the release of my ALL time fave House of 3 line: Spring Junque! THEN, my Creativity Exercise today was:

66. CREATIVITY QUESTIONS:: What kind of surprise can I include in this project?

today's been all about creative surprises...I'm having so much fun!


I started out making the NEW Spring Junque banners. I printed out the tiny ones on the PDF Printable of this kit: it's a BONUS & it looks like this:


Then, I added all sorts of goodies from the printable Banners & Garlands as seen up above. And, I'm having a ball with the NEW Silhouette shapes that I just put in their store: Easter was cut out with the Silhouette on manilla file folder & then, I took Glimmer Mist to it...I even got into it with my eggs...I'll show you the results as I continue creating.

Springy MOnday

Happy Monday, everyone!
The birds are chirping outside...my daffodils are just *peeking* out & I'm hoping we are done with the snow!

I snapped this photo of a real nest...how beautiful nature is, huh? I just love it! So....we've been busy getting stuff ready for Easter around here. I've got plans for these little Easter picks to be peeking out of flowers, baskets & eggs on Easter morning...thought I'd share a little How-To:

There are 3 picks in this picture.
1. Happy Pick: Take a jeweled floral pick, add a House of 3 Mini Party Banner & fold in half to create this banner. It's that easy!

2. Flower Pick: Cut a wooden skewer stick in half & add 2 punched out background papers you have printed out. ...back to back hiding the top of the skewer stick.
Hot glue a small flower on the front & add 2 guinea feathers, too! Just for some fun! *wink*

3. Celebrate Pick: Take a jeweled floral pick, add a printed out Mini Party Banner & fold in half to create this cute pick. Add the 'Celebrate' banner offered in the House of 3 Magical Brushes kit & you are done!

enjoy getting all of your creations complete for this coming week! We are doing fun Easter traditions around our house that make me so happy..i love this time of year!

So fun to be with all of us. Tonight's show is all about Creativity & Inspiration! It was great talking about what we do, how we do it....& we so we shared a bit about my 100 Creativity Exercises. In the video you see us all take out 3 of the 'exercises'...but, the jar is chock full of 100 daily prompts.

New Advanced Digital Brush class &...Spark!

I'm not going to lie.

I am sooo excited about tonights advanced digital design brush class called *Artsy Refined* Digital Brush Secrets workshop at Dear Lizzie!...for a few reasons:

No. 1> I adore Dear Lizzie. the store. the treats. the ambiance. the %15 off Laura gives all of our workshop members while we have the WHOLE store to ourselves at night...chandeliers sparkling, eveyrone laughing & creating!....sheer bliss!

No. 2>This is a small, intimate class: only 10 of us will be there...and, Janet & Heidi! I"m thrilled to teach these design secrets & create so many fun projects together...all sitting there...with our laptops & graphic tablets...getting inspired!

No. 3>I know I always say this, BUT...this new brush kit is so fun...it's more advanced & so I give them some interesting tools that don't look like anything that different than my previous Digital Brush kits...but the design techniques we'll be learning...oooo, I'm giddy!

One of my favorite things about doing my daily Creativity Exercises is that each time I pull out one of the exercises....it's a mystery!

No. 80: Treat yourself: to a new supply. to a yummy drink. to a new song. something to spark!

DIY Spring scene jars....with digital brushes to add flair!

Ok...as promised here are a few little shots of the cute Spring scene jars I've been making to force Spring around here.... The tutorial on how to make these can be found HERE. Just add Spring accessories instead of your snowy scene!

Supplies to Do-it-Yourself:

Each of these blog photos have been 'dolled' up with the Magical Brushes in the kit we talked about last night on the show & that is now up on House of 3...

so, I'll break it down & tell you what brushes I used on each of these blog images:

TOP IMAGE brush supplies:
green frame: parisian frame bruh sized to go over the photo
white edges underneath: parisian frame edges. just stamped around to give depth.


MIDDLE IMAGE brush supplies:
Photo Mat brush is used under the photo & then a Layer Mask is applied. STOP. don't get freaked...this is a bit more advanced, but I wanted to give you these powerful tools in the Magical Brush kit so that WHEN you are ready, you've got them. :) More on those later! *wink*
Grey flowers are part of the Quote art "Lift yourself up" brush...just stamped on edge.
'Lift Yourself up" is part of the quote brush & I just erased the other part for this.
Pink/grey banner is part of the Silhouette Tricks 2 brush kit.
White Sunburst/Magical Bonus brush!

snowy friday!

It's a snowy Friday, so I'm forcing Spring around my house....

...making cute little Springier versions of these snowscene jars I made for Christmas...now, they hold little Spring delights: birds, grass, mushrooms, butterflies, flowers....*sigh*
it IS helping me feel a bit more joyful!....& I have to say: I'm loving the House of 3 Printable Banner kits: the larger ones and the mini ones are adorning my house now.

And, next up..I think I'll make some of these new Happy TIckets over at the House...i think they'll help me (or someone I love) feel happy! ...and Janet's givin' away a Printable! fun!
