I loved the comments I got about the Valentine Tea cups idea I shared here.  Many people said...If only I could write like you..well...here is my handwriting for YOU! These are brushes, but you can certainly print them out on window decals like I did HERE & put them on glass, tea cups, windows, mirrors...so fun! OR...just a good old fashioned Valentine greeting!

Like Jamie showed us above...the Junqued Frame kit is cool!  They come with 4 Junquey frames that are High Resolution OR Low Resolution...just pop a graphic, photo or typography on there...& it's super easy!

Ok, I've had sooo many requests for a kit like this Star Burst Brush kit...something that included the Star Bursts I use in a lot of my designing...so...here ya go! 14 of my personal favorite design tools that I go to over & over...you will LOVE these in your own designing.

Oh. These Textures Brushes are such a fabulous design tool. They are 8x8 High Resolution textures that add so much...from grid, to butterflies, to distress...it's a GO-TO for any kind of cool texture background you want...& with 13 different ones...you're covered!

The Washi Tape Frames are so fun...comes in 300 High Resolution OR 72 Low Resolution...4 frames all with Washi Tape on them...& love the Instax sized frame, too!
enjoy!

DIY cRaft ideas: paper flowers & free download!

You know I have loved making these vintage paper flowers...huge ones...all over my house.
Well, I have been printing the Kiss Me collection papers onto vintage book paper, dictionary paper, & music paper & am loving the effect they have when making these flowers. So...I thought I'd share a HOW-TO for this DIY project AND the free download template to get you going on this fun hybrid project!
Supplies needed:
paper: vintage book papers OR plain copy paper
pin or skewer with pear or gem or topper
kraft paper
scissors
hot glue/gun
fringe scissors

Steps:
No. 1: Print out free Valentine Paper Flower template from Rhonna Designs onto vintage papers. Note; when doing this, make sure it's vintage, but not too old that it will crack or rip easily...you will be crinkling these papers a lot.
No. 2: Cut out template pieces. (think butterfly or bow-tie shape) (4 large, 4 medium, 3 small, 2 extra small)
No. 3: Using the plain vintage music papers, book papers, or kraft paper, cut out each paper with the same sizes as noted above. The idea is, you'll be layering colored Kiss Me papers, with kraft & vintage papers for a cool look.
No. 4: Crinkle. Wrinkle. Distress, whatever you want to do to give a ruffled look to these petals.
No. 5: Grab a stick pin or skewer (or toothpick, even) with a pearl, jewel...or something on top that will be the  'middle' of the flowers.
No. 6: Starting with the extra small petals, add a dab of glue on the bottom of the pearl & pierce the 2 extra small petals (put them criss cross) & push onto the hot glue.

No. 7: Continue layering with the sizes & varying the patterns & colors until you are finished.
ideas: using the smaller sizes, make smaller flowers. using the larger sizes make larger flowers. for 'extra large' flowers, just cut out the papers with the same technique & assemble HUGE flowers! *my fave*
You can cut out larger pieces freehand as you get the hang of it, but just wanted to share this little fRee Valentines DIY download with you!

Make sure you are already registered on the site & you'll need to be logged in. It will appear in your Downloads.
Remember, this is for personal use only.

I've been a flower makin' fool over here...I seriously LOVE these...making a wreath..I'll have to share when I'm done! Happy Friday...& be sure to come back tomorrow for a VERY cool giveaway for a free ticket to a conference I'm excited to attend. *wink* did I intrigue you enough?
ciao, bellas!
p.s. we released 5 NEW kits last night...tool kits, frames & some fun handwritten Valentines...go on over & check them out!

DIY cRaft ideas: Valentine sweet jaRs

I love to put little gifts in jars....How about some sweet treats for your Valentine? Just glam up your jars with the Kiss Me collection, inkjet  sticker paper, pearls, kraft flowers & tags n flag... & a little sneak peak of a new product being released tonight on Rhonna Designs!

 Supplies needed:
jar- any kind of jar
Mod Podge
Kraft Mask Paper (Home Depot)
pin w/ pearl on top
candy
scissors
fringe scissors

Steps for Jar. No. 1:
No. 1: Print out the Kiss Me collection onto white sticker paper. (I used the Kiss Me Borders
No. 2: Cut out the doilies Border, cut strip in half & adhere onto the top & bottom of jar.
No. 3: Apply ModPodge over the  doily edges to 'seal' it onto the jar. Let dry.
No. 4: Cut out the Valentine Printables out to make the tags: just cut , fold & hot glue onto the jar. For the pin, just fold over, glue & add to the front tag.
No. 5: Cut a strip of Kraft Mask paper (from Home Depot painter's section), fold over, use your fringe scissors to cut the strips & roll around the top of the jar knob.
Steps for Jar No. 2:
No. 1: Cut out the Valentines card around the flowers & the strip of  paper from the Printables. Adhere onto the jar.
No. 2: Add a little tag w/ jute twine wrapped around the top of the jar.
No. 3: Print out the new Handwritten Valentines onto inkjet window decals.  Cut out.
No. 4: Peel apart & stick on jar...so, it looks like the handwritten love notes here!
**note: I used this picture to show you the detail of the window decal...you can see the bubbles & wrinkles. I put it on really quickly & didn't smooth it out. All you need to do is smooth it out & you really can't even SEE it on the glass, teacups, windows, mirrors....you get it!

Ok...so, tonight a few more kits will be going up!... excited...be watching for our newsletter, too!
Happy Thursday!

DIY cRaft ideas: Valentine Burlap Heart

This is a super easy DIY that can be created with things you have around your house...I promise.
I've used the Kiss Me Collection here, of course, because I just LOVE it!
But...how about juxtaposing the raw texture of burlap with soft silk ribbon & a gold, ornate frame...with...
chevron & glitter.
um. yes pleas!
supplies needed:
heart shape. this can be anything you have around the house because it will be covered. even cardboard!
burlap, linen, fabric- anything with texture.
silk ribbons
jute twine
toothpick
pearl
glitter letters
frame

Step 1. Take a strip of burlap, linen or fabric & hot glue to the back & just wrap it all along the form.
*I'd mentioned above that you can even cut out the shape from a cardboard box*

Step 2. Print out papers from the Kiss Me Bundle & put inside the frame.

Step 3. Cut a strip of the papers & add glitter letters to it for any Valentine greeting.

Step 4. Follow THIS toothpick/pearl/printable= flag tutorial to create a cute Valentine flag tag.

Step 5. Add flags wherever you'd like..I have two to balance each other out, but also added a glitter chipboard heart.

Step 6. Tie with silk ribbons & jute...Hang right inside the frame...& voila! A cool Valentine DIY decoration...Love it!

Ok...so, tomorrow I'll be sharing some fun gift ideas with Rhonna Designs Kiss Me printables...don't miss it!  And, be sure to enter the Valentine Perfume Giveaway...so fun!

DIY Valentine cRafts ideas: glammed coffee filter flower garland

I owe this post to my amazing fRiend, Jamie Soucy. SHE is the inspiration for today's DIY Valentine idea.
At Christmas time, we had a girls craft night over at Jamie's & right when you walked into her amazingly gorgeous house, she had this jaw dropping coffee filter flower garland. I seriously LOVEd it!

You know how much I LOVE coffee filter flowers. a*hem.

But, Jamie took it to a whole new level. I was DYING....(no pun intended) because her soft, tea dyed coffee filters had GLITTERED edges...oh my!

She was so fab to help me create my own by donating to the cause! *wink* hundreds of dyed coffee filters that were already glittered!  Her secret? She folded them in quarters, dipped them in mod podge & then glitter. BRILLIANT!

Then...she constructed the garland in her brilliant manner.

I'm a hot glue gun fiend, so I immediately grabbed 5 of them & went to town, creating a flower. She politely told me there's a much easier way to create the garland part:
put 5 of them together,
staple on each side towards the center
& then
punch a hold in the middle...stringing them onto the garland.

um.
yea.
she's fab.
So, I got going & threaded mine with my vintage music ribbon & I loved how it looked! I had it up for Christmas & then added these Valentine rosette prize ribbons on the ends of my garland. I'm in LOVE!!

I needed an excuse to use the already-hot-glue-gunned-flower I'd hastily made...so, i came up with these rosette prize ribbons.
supplies:
5 glittered & glammed coffee filters
hot glue gun
ribbon (silk is scrump)
pearls (bulk on a roll)
burlap (HUGE roll from Home Depot Garden Dept.)

I added them to the ends of the garland & I'm seriously LOVING it!  I made some jar gifts (planning to fill with candy as Valentine's Day gets closer) with jute twine & the Kiss Me Printables...then, wrote on the jar. 'valentine'...love these little accent jars around my vignettes. mmm!

As you can see...for now, I've got a flower in there...LOL...can't have candy around here too early...or it won't make it to Feb. 14!
So...enjoy this fun Valentine idea, & thanks again, Jamie! mmmwah!
& with just a couple more weeks of the Valentine Giveaway...go on over & enter.
Happy Monday...tomorrow is Creative Team Tuesday....you will LOVE the ideas!
xoXo
